The tradition of what we’re making dates back to the early days of our country. It’s a truly American product with a ton of history—our Distillery has really seen it all.
I’m involved in taking barrels to the bottling hall as well as transportation of the barrels to regauge to be “dumped,” filtering the bourbon.
Both my grandfather and grandmother worked for the Distillery, so I have a little bit of family history here. From my understanding, it’s always been a very close-knit community. That continues to this day; it’s really a family atmosphere and I take a lot of pride in being a part of it.
