The Team Dedicated To Our Craft

After working as a restaurant manger for 21 years, I was ready to do something different. I thought it would be fun to work in a distillery, so I applied to Buffalo Trace and was fortunate to get hired two years ago. I really like my job and the beautiful atmosphere.

During a typical day I run the elevator, help load and unload the barrels, drill out the bungs then dump the barrels for the bottling process.

When I walk into a liquor store and see our products, I’m proud I had a part in making them. They’re all good, but Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace are definitely my favorites.

Look for me at the Distillery or in the women’s barrel rolling contest during this year’s Bourbon Festival in Bardstown.
