More liquor gets shipped out of the distribution center than people realize, and we have brands that some in Kentucky have never heard of. On most days, I help load about 25 semi-trailers.
With 15 forklift operators going at one time, it gets pretty busy in here. The pace is fast and you really have to learn to maneuver in and out quickly; it’s kind of like driving in rush hour traffic.
The best part about the Distillery is the people who work here. They’re great to be around, and the company treats everyone fairly.
My favorite bourbon is Buffalo Trace, and Blanton’s is good, too.
