George T. Stagg Gallery
Built in 1881, the George T. Stagg Gallery was originally constructed as Whiskey Warehouse A and housed barrels of aging whiskey for several decades. As the Distillery grew, the building served as a warehouse for bottling supplies and a shipping warehouse. Today, it serves as our Visitor's Center, gallery and gift shop.
The George T. Stagg Gallery, located inside the Visitor Center's/Gift Shop, invites your guests to explore the history of the company and the history of Kentucky. Archival photos document the company’s milestones and events. Built-in display cases house unique historical artifacts. The exposed brick walls, beamed ceiling, concrete floors and studio lighting give an avant-garde feeling to this historic building. The Gallery is perfect for your cocktail reception or seated dinner and ideal for small- to medium-sized groups. Your guests will have plenty to look at as they enjoy this one-of-a-kind space.
